Joey Reiness

Joey Reiness has a diverse work experience starting in 2009 as a Guitar Teacher. In 2010, they worked as an Assistant at LED Leisure Management, where they organized children's birthday parties and coached tennis. In 2014, they served as a Research Assistant at the Battcock Centre for Experimental Astrophysics at the University of Cambridge. Joey then worked as a Software Intern at RealVNC in 2015, where they focused on test automation for their automotive mobile application. In 2016, Joey joined Durham University as a PhD Candidate in Particle Physics Phenomenology, completing their thesis in 2020. During this time, they also worked as a Workshop Demonstrator, teaching undergraduate physics workshops. In 2019, they were a Guest Lecturer at Universidad de Costa Rica, where they delivered lectures on Modern Cosmology. Lastly, in 2020, Joey joined MATH LABS as a Senior AI Engineering Researcher.

Joey Reiness began their education at Clyst Vale Community College from 2005 to 2012. During this period, no specific degrees or fields of study were mentioned. Joey then went on to the University of Cambridge, where they pursued a Bachelor's Degree in Natural Sciences from 2012 to 2015 with a specialization in Experimental and Theoretical Physics. Joey continued their studies at the same institution and completed a Master's Degree in Natural Sciences (MSci) from 2015 to 2016, focusing on Theoretical and Experimental Physics. Following this, they attended Durham University from 2016 to 2020, where they obtained their PhD in Particle Physics Phenomenology.
