Deborah Reed

Deborah Reed is a Senior Fellow in Human Services at Mathematica, where they focus on enhancing the use of research and evidence to inform policies and programs. Prior to this role, they served as the General Manager of Human Services at Mathematica from 2009 to 2023 and were the Research Director at the Public Policy Institute of California from 1995 to 2008. Deborah holds a Bachelor's degree in Economics and Development Studies from the University of California, Berkeley, a Doctor of Philosophy in Economics from Yale University, and completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Economics at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor.
