Lauren Banks Amos is a highly experienced education researcher and principal investigator with a focus on school discipline policies and climate measurement. Currently serving as a Principal Investigator with Mathematica, Lauren leads studies addressing exclusionary discipline practices affecting marginalized student populations. With prior roles at Manhattan Strategy Group and American Institutes for Research, Lauren has directed numerous evaluations and projects aimed at enhancing education, institutional accountability, and STEM participation among underrepresented groups. Lauren holds a Ph.D. in Learning Sciences from Northwestern University and a BA in Public Policy Studies and English from Duke University.
