Lead Data Analytics Developer, Project Director at Mathematica

Scott Greiner has a diverse work experience starting in 2011 when they worked as a Schools Specialist at Public Consulting Group. In this role, they served as a client facing solution specialist and was responsible for managing data analysis, product training, day-to-day interactions, and Medicaid claim processing for 15 client groups.

In 2012, they joined Mathematica Policy Research as a Research Assistant / Programmer. Their responsibilities included using SAS, SQL, C#, and Excel to analyze data sets, create PDF reports from XML data, and recruit research assistants and senior programmers.

By 2014, Scott was promoted to the role of Senior Programmer Analyst at Mathematica Policy Research. In addition to data analysis using SAS, SQL, and C#, they led teams of senior and junior programmers on periodic reporting projects and was involved in recruiting new staff.

Currently, Scott holds the position of Lead Data Analytics Developer and Project Director at Mathematica Policy Research. In this role, they lead multiple teams, manages project schedules and technical requirements, oversees system architectures, and mentors programming techniques. Scott also supervises a team of senior programmers across several offices.

Scott Greiner has a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Statistics from the University of Michigan, which was obtained between 2007 and 2011. Scott later pursued Computer Science at the same institution from 2013 to 2016 as a non-degree seeking student. Currently, Scott is working towards a Master of Science (MS) degree in Computer Science at the Georgia Institute of Technology, which they began in 2017 and is expected to complete in 2023. In 2016, Scott obtained a certification as a Certified Scrum Master from Scrum Alliance.
