Tamara Barnes

Tamara Barnes is the Senior Vice President, General Counsel, and Secretary at Mathematica, where they built a respected legal department and serve as the Corporate Secretary. Before this role, they were the Associate General Counsel for corporate M&A and finance at American Standard Companies, Inc., where they managed significant transactions. Barnes has also worked as an attorney at LeBoeuf, Lamb, Greene & MacRae L.L.P. and Baker & McKenzie, focusing on corporate securities and international finance. They received their juris doctorate from the Sturm College of Law at the University of Denver, graduating with honors, and hold a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Colorado.
