Mather
Joel Hetrick CDM, CFPP is a corporate culinary director and executive chef at Mather since February 2023, with extensive experience in the culinary industry. Previous roles include executive chef and executive sous chef at Vi from January 2014 to February 2023, and sous chef at The Naples Sailing & Yacht Club from October 2012 to December 2013. Joel Hetrick also owned and fronted The Steel Chops, a national recording rock band, from July 2006 to September 2015. Early culinary experience includes positions as a line cook at Montgomery's on the Square and Bureau Valley Country Club. Joel Hetrick holds an AAS in Culinary Arts from Kendall College and has completed multiple programs at The Culinary Institute of America, as well as business studies at Harvard Business School.
