Raymond Tang is currently a High School Learning Instructor at Mathnasium - The Math Learning Center, where tutoring is provided to students ranging from kindergarten to Grade 12 using a team-teaching model. In the upcoming summer of 2025, Raymond will serve as an Undergraduate Student Researcher at Western University, working on wildfire risk assessment by developing algorithms and time series models using sensor data. Prior research experience includes refining algorithms for indoor mapping during the 2024 Undergraduate Summer Research Award and aiding in chess instruction at CoboMax in 2022. Additionally, Raymond is the Remote Systems Sub-System Lead for the Western Skylark CubeSat Project, focusing on the creation of communication systems for tracking bird migration. Raymond is pursuing a dual degree in Mechatronics Systems Engineering and Artificial Intelligence Systems Engineering at Western University, expected to be completed in 2027.
