Gabija Marsalkaite

Gabija Marsalkaite is a Senior Software Quality Engineer for Deep Learning at MathWorks, having joined the company in May 2018 after serving as a Software Quality Engineer for MATLAB Deep Learning Toolbox. Responsibilities include writing tests for new features, bug investigation, performance tracking, and design reviews. Prior experience includes a role as a Data Scientist at oxipit, focusing on deep learning for medical data analysis, and participating in an internship at TRAFI, where Gabija was involved in developing a public transport route assignment method. Additional internships at the University of Cambridge included exploring unsupervised machine learning for mineral quantification and working as a field geologist. Gabija holds a Master of Science and a Bachelor of Arts in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge.
