Karthik K has over two decades of experience in engineering and technical support operations, currently serving as the Manager of the Engineering Development Group (EDG) for The MathWorks, overseeing hiring and management for the group in India and ANZ operations since May 2011. In addition to this role, Karthik manages Technical Support operations for MathWorks' products in India and Australia, aiming to ensure high customer satisfaction. Prior to joining The MathWorks, Karthik worked at IBM India Pvt. Ltd. from December 2000 to May 2011 as Deputy General Manager, where responsibilities included managing end-to-end delivery for customer accounts and supporting new engagements. Karthik also held various roles at IBM, including Account Manager, Program Manager, and Technical Delivery Manager. The career began as an Assistant Systems Engineer at Tata Consultancy Services, contributing to mainframe applications for a major American banking client. Karthik holds a Bachelor of Engineering (B.E.) in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Mysore.
