Mahdi Elhousni

Mahdi Elhousni is a Senior Software Engineer at MathWorks since October 2022, specializing in computer vision and autonomous driving. Previous experience includes serving as a Research Assistant at Worcester Polytechnic Institute from August 2020 to August 2022, along with internships at MathWorks focused on autonomous parking solutions and SLAM technologies for autonomous vehicles. Mahdi held multiple teaching assistant positions at Worcester Polytechnic Institute, covering a range of electrical and computer engineering courses between January 2018 and May 2020. An exchange student in 2017, Mahdi researched UAVs and smart city technologies. Mahdi holds a PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering from Worcester Polytechnic Institute and a Diplôme d'ingénieur in Computer Science from Ecole Nationale Supérieure d'Informatique et d'Analyse des Systèmes.
