Nate Root

Nate Root is a seasoned IT professional with extensive experience at MathWorks, where Nate has held key leadership roles since May 2006, currently serving as Director of IT. Root's responsibilities include driving the growth and development of enterprise platforms, managing technology portfolios for agile sub-teams, and interfacing with executive leadership. Significant achievements include leading a reorganization of the platform engineering group and overseeing the strategic expansion of collaboration services. Prior experience includes positions as Vice President and Research Director at Forrester Research and Director of Technology at thoughtbubble, among other roles. Root holds a BS in Computer Science and Business from the University of Vermont.
