Yongsheng Zhang

Yongsheng Zhang is a Principal Engineer at MathWorks, specializing in FPGA Deep Learning and hardware/software co-design with expertise in Simulink HDL Coder since March 2022. Prior experience includes serving as a Principal Software Engineer and Lead Software Engineer at Cadence Design Systems from June 2016 to March 2022, focusing on Xcelium low-power and functional safety simulators. Yongsheng Zhang also contributed as a Postdoctoral researcher at the University of Pennsylvania from November 2011 to October 2014, where a Matlab lesion-symptom mapping toolbox using support vector regression was developed, along with new medical imaging data analysis tools. Educational background includes a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from Shanghai Jiao Tong University and master's and bachelor's degrees in Electrical Engineering from Shandong University.
