Matthew O.

Matthew O. has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Matthew currently holds the position of VP Pavement and Engineering Technologies at Mathy Construction Company since June 2019. Prior to this, they worked at Braun Intertec Corporation where they held the position of Principal / Principal Engineer from January 2016 to June 2019. Matthew also served as an Associate Principal / Senior Engineer from June 2009 to January 2016, overseeing and coordinating pavement consulting activities. Additionally, they were the TH 610 Design-Build Construction Quality Manager from March 2010 to December 2011, providing guidance in field geotechnical engineering. Earlier in their career, they worked at the Minnesota Department of Transportation in various roles, including Principal Engineer, Senior Engineer, and Graduate Engineer, gaining experience in pavement design, grading & base, geotechnical engineering, and transportation data and analysis.

Matthew O. obtained their B.S. in Civil Engineering from the University of Minnesota, where they studied from 1994 to 1998. Following that, they pursued further education and completed their M.S. in Civil Engineering at the same institution from 1999 to 2008.
