Anshuman Kumar

Anshuman Kumar is a Mechanical Engineering Lead at Matic since December 2018, previously serving as a Design Engineer. Prior to this, Anshuman worked at Tesla from September 2016 to December 2018 as a Mechanical Design Engineer on the Drive Inverter Team, focusing on thermals, reliability, design for manufacturing, and performance optimization. Anshuman's earlier experience includes a role in Production Engineering at Krishna Maruti Group in mid-2014, where challenges related to manual welding were addressed through the design of a low-cost welding defect detection system using Hall effect sensors and Arduino. Anshuman holds a Master's degree in Integrated Innovation for Products and Services from Carnegie Mellon University (2015-2016) and a Bachelor's degree in Production and Industrial Engineering from the Indian Institute of Technology, Delhi (2011-2015).
