Alexa Kalandiak has been working in the engineering and design industry since 2015. Alexa began their career as an Engineering and Design Intern at 3DChimera in 2015. In 2016, they worked as a Materials and Sustainability Intern at Arquitectonica, where they wrote a consulting plan for selecting healthy/sustainable high-volume building materials for a new 500,000+ sq. ft LEED Gold facility. In 2017, they were an ESI Fellow at Earth Stewardship Initiative and a Global Leadership Summer Fellow at blueEnergy Group. Since 2018, they have been working at PassiveLogic as both a Staff Mechanical Engineer and a Junior Mechanical Engineer.
Alexa Kalandiak attended Ransom Everglades Upper School from 2010 to 2014, graduating as Valedictorian. Alexa then attended Yale University from 2014 to 2018, graduating with a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering.
