Karthik Chandrashekaraiah

Karthik Chandrashekaraiah is a Senior Mechanical Engineer at Matic, actively contributing to the development of autonomous home robots since January 2021. Prior to this role, Karthik served at ASML from March 2017 to January 2021, initially as a Mechanical Design Engineer for the Motors and Optical Sensor teams, eventually advancing to Mechanical Architect, where responsibilities included overseeing key manufacturing risk tests and mentoring new engineers on critical mechanical competencies. Karthik was also a Lead Design Engineer for the Carnegie Mellon Hyperloop project from August 2015 to January 2017, co-founding a team that designed and built a Hyperloop Pod, showcasing expertise in systems architecture and structural analysis. Karthik holds a Master’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering from Carnegie Mellon University and a Bachelor of Technology in Mechanical Engineering with a specialization in Energy Engineering from Vellore Institute of Technology.
