Shalin Shah

Shalin Shah is a seasoned software engineer and entrepreneur with extensive experience in founding and leading technology-driven startups. Currently a Software Engineer at Matic since May 2021, Shalin previously founded Voice OCR, which grew to approximately 3 million users within two years, achieving notable success on the iOS App Store. As the founder of Iris Co., Shalin led a team in developing a product that garnered a $150k investment offer at a $3 million valuation, while also founding Lumos, which developed a medical device under rigorous oversight and received significant funding. Early career experiences include software engineering roles at Wit.ai and MakeSchool, both of which were part of Y Combinator's accelerator program. Shalin holds a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and Computer Sciences from the University of California, Berkeley.
