Wontae Cha

Wontae Cha has over 20 years of experience as a healthcare executive, specializing in global strategy and expansion plan – including M&A and new business development and growth strategy.

In addition to his role at Matica Biotechnology, Wontae serves as the Chief Operations Officer at CHA Health Systems and Chief Strategy Officer at CHA Hollywood Presbyterian Medical Center in Los Angeles, California where he oversees multiple subsidiaries in Australia, Singapore and other South Asia and Korea.

Prior to CHA Health Systems, Wontae was a researcher at Columbia University Medical School. He graduated from Massachusetts Institute of Technology with Masters of Business Administration in 2013, Yale University with a degree in Masters in Public Health, and Duke University with Bachelors of Science.
