Mark Balkenende has a diverse work experience spanning various roles and industries. Mark is currently the Vice President of Product Marketing at Matillion, where they are responsible for driving integrated marketing programs and accelerating the company's growth. Prior to this, Mark was the Sr Director of Product Marketing at Matillion, where they played a key role in establishing the company as a leader in a new category and building strong relations with analysts.
Mark also has experience in the field of product marketing strategy, as they participated in the Product Marketing Alliance's Fellowship program.
Before joining Matillion, Mark worked at Talend, where they held the positions of Director of Product Marketing and Director of Technical Product Marketing. Mark also gained experience as a Technical Product Manager at Talend.
In addition, Mark has held positions at nVISIA as an Enterprise Architect, at Walgreens as an MDM Technical Lead, at Alere Inc as a Sr Data Warehouse Developer, and at Abbott as a Data Integration Architect and Integration Architect.
Early in their career, Mark worked at Motorola as an Application Developer Lead.
Mark Balkenende completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Management Information Systems from the University of Northern Iowa between 1997 and 1999. In addition, they obtained the Matillion Associate Certification from Matillion in September 2022.
