Cathal Flanagan

Cathal Flanagan is a seasoned engineering leader with extensive global experience in manufacturing and technical operations. Currently serving as the Head of Global Engineering at Mativ, responsible for capital and Industry 4.0 strategy across over fifty manufacturing locations. Previously held the position of Chief Technical Officer at Graham Packaging, overseeing a $70 million capital budget and leading a team of 160 across six business units. Flanagan also served as Chief Operating Officer at The Penn Group of Companies, developing solar operations and maintenance functions for multiple facilities. With a robust background at Kulicke & Soffa and Newport Corporation, including roles in program management and product development, Flanagan combines an MBA with advanced engineering degrees from UCLA Anderson School of Management, University College Dublin, and Drexel University.
