Danielle de Villiers has worked for four organizations since 2014. Danielle began their career as a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Queen Mary University of London in 2014. Danielle then moved to London Implant Retrieval Centre in 2015, where they worked as a Research Engineer. In the same year, they began working for JRI Orthopaedics as a Senior Project Engineer. Since 2018, they have been employed by MatOrtho Ltd, where they currently hold the roles of Hip Manager (R&D) and Senior Development Engineer.
Danielle de Villiers obtained their Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medical Engineering from Queen Mary University of London in 2014, having previously obtained their Master of Engineering (MEng) from the same university in 2010.
