The history of the terminal goes back to 1967, started as a forest products terminal and gradually expanded to the multipurpose terminal as it is now. Until final delivery to your customer: we will handle it with care and supporting your supply chain to run smoothly.

Matrans Rotterdam Terminal offers you the dedication of a small team, but the power of a larger whole. Our terminal is part of the Matrans group and is located in the heart of European trade: the port of Rotterdam. All our services are centered at the same location. Loading and unloading is therefore efficient and at a high quality level. By (inland) vessel, truck or train: more than 100,000 TEU containers and 1 million ton breakbulk depart from our logistics hub to destinations all around the globe.

The Logistics and Planning team at Matrans Rotterdam Terminal is responsible for orchestrating the seamless movement of cargo within the terminal and ensuring timely delivery to customers. This includes coordinating the loading and unloading of goods, planning and scheduling transportation via inland vessels, trucks, and trains, and optimizing overall terminal operations. Through precise planning and efficient execution, the team supports the supply chain, ensuring high-quality service and on-time deliveries.
