Claire Peikes

Claire Peikes has a diverse range of work experience. Claire'smost recent role was as a Head Advising Fellow at Matriculate starting in April 2022. Prior to that, they worked at UConn Health as a Research Assistant, where they supported the work of Dr. Megan O'Grady and contributed to a research study on text messaging intervention in the emergency department for individuals with alcohol use disorder. Claire also organized relevant articles and collected information on title, author, full text, and abstract. Claire also has experience as an Education Intern at Poughkeepsie Indoor Organic Gardens and as a Research Intern at UConn Health in both 2021 and 2020. In addition, they have volunteered as a Lab Assistant at Trinity College-Hartford and participated in the Smith Science and Engineering Summer Program. Claire also completed the Mini Medical Program at UConn Health.

Claire Peikes pursued their higher education at Vassar College, where they earned a Bachelor's degree in Biochemistry from 2019 to 2023. Alongside their undergraduate studies, they also attended Penn Foster Group from 2022 to 2023, obtaining an Associate's degree in Pharmacy Technician/Assistant. Prior to their college years, Claire graduated from Hall High School and received their High School Diploma between 2015 and 2019.
