Klaus holds a M.Sc. in Micro- und Nanotechnologie from FHV - Vorarlberg University of Applied Sciences, a dipl.-Ing. in Systemtechnik from NTB Interstaatliche Hochschule für Technik Buchs SG, and an Ing. in Maschinenbau (Automatisierungstechnik) from HTL Bregenz.
