Sara Patterson has had a diverse range of work experiences. Their most recent job was at Matrix Brokerage, where they worked in administration starting in February 2020.
Prior to that, they worked at the Virginia Department of Corrections from 2013 to 2020. During their time there, they held various roles including Case Management Counselor, Corrections Sergeant, and Correctional Officer Senior. As a Corrections Sergeant, they provided supervision and ensured a safe and secure environment. As a Correctional Officer Senior, they were responsible for providing security and supervising daily activities of offenders.
Before their work at the Virginia Department of Corrections, Sara worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant at Catawba Regional Hospice from 2011 to 2013.
