Philip Berry

Philip Berry is an accomplished criminologist with extensive experience in research and consulting. Currently serving as a Senior Consultant at Matrix Consulting Group since January 2022 and Director of Research for South Carolina for Criminal Justice Reform since November 2020, Philip has previously worked as a Research Associate at the Virginia Criminal Sentencing Commission and as a Translational Criminologist at Informed Justice. Academic experience includes a Graduate Student Researcher role at the University of South Carolina and Graduate Research and Teaching Assistant positions, alongside fellowships at Radford University. Philip holds a Ph.D. in Criminology from the University of South Carolina, a Master's degree in Criminology from Radford University, and a Bachelor's degree in Criminal Justice from Lebanon Valley College.
