Sal Nodjomian

Sal Nodjomian has a diverse and extensive work experience in various leadership and management roles. Sal began their career as a Commander in the USAF, overseeing operations, maintenance, and repair of facilities. Sal also served as the Chief of the Programs Division, providing direction for military construction programs. Sal later became the Commander of the 332nd Expeditionary Mission Support Group during Operation Iraqi Freedom. In 2010, they transitioned to a civilian role as the Executive Vice President and Global Director of Federal Practices at Matrix Design Group, Inc., where they were responsible for strategic consulting and the development of various product lines and services. Sal eventually became the CEO of Matrix Design Group, overseeing the overall direction of the company and maintaining leadership roles in government consulting services and DoD-related activities. Additionally, Sal has held leadership positions in the Society of American Military Engineers, serving as the National President and President-elect. Sal's work experience highlights their expertise in military mission analysis, public-private partnerships, and base realignment and closure.

Sal Nodjomian has a diverse education history spanning multiple fields of study. In 1984, they completed their Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from the University of Delaware. Following this, from 1989 to 1991, Sal pursued a Master of Arts in Public Administration from Northern Michigan University. Moving forward, between 1992 and 1994, they attended The Ohio State University and obtained a Master of Science in Geotechnical Engineering. Continuing their education, Sal completed a Master of Science in Organizational Management from The George Washington University, with studies lasting from 1995 to 1997. In 2000 and 2001, they furthered their education by attending the Air Command and Staff College, earning a Master of Arts in Military Arts. Lastly, in 2005 and 2006, Sal Nodjomian attended the National War College to study National Security Strategy and received a Master of Science degree.
