Hugo Baur serves as the Head of AI & Innovation at Matrix Energia since January 2021, leading the pragmatic implementation of artificial intelligence and unconventional solutions aimed at enhancing corporate productivity and sales while mitigating risks. With extensive experience in enterprise architecture and product management, Hugo has previously held roles that included coordinating solution architecture and senior innovation analysis, driving technological transformation within the energy sector. Prior roles include energy trading and risk management analysis at Enel, and founding Low-IT, which integrates IoT, Big Data, and AI technologies. Hugo’s academic background includes a Master's in Computer Science with a focus on Artificial Intelligence, alongside multiple degrees in Computer Science and Information Systems from Universidade Federal Fluminense.
