Eric Yu

Eric Yu is a seasoned venture capital professional with extensive expertise in healthcare investments. Currently serving as a Partner and Head of Healthcare at Matrix Partners since 2014, Eric specializes in biotechnology, medtech, services, and healthcare IT. Prior to this role, Eric held a Vice President position at Fidelity Growth Partners Asia, focusing on healthcare investments, and served as Deputy General Manager at Shenzhen Capital Group, one of China's largest VC firms. Eric's earlier experience includes roles as a Summer Associate at UBS Investment Bank and an Associate at McKinsey & Company. Educational qualifications include an MBA in Finance from The Tuck School of Business at Dartmouth and a Ph.D. in Chemistry from Columbia University. Eric also holds a Bachelor’s degree from Peking University and has received notable awards for team building and as a new employee during tenure at Shenzhen Capital Group.
