Luis Miguel Alvarez

Luis Miguel Alvarez has a diverse work experience in the renewable energy industry. Luis Miguel currently holds the position of VP Development Europe & LatAm at Matrix Renewables, where they focus on developing and owning renewable energy and storage assets across North America, Europe, and Latin America. Before joining Matrix Renewables, Luis Miguel served as the Head of Wind & Solar Iberia at Statkraft, managing hydropower and renewable energy assets. Prior to that, they were the Corporate Business Development Head at Fotowatio Renewable Ventures (FRV). Luis Miguel also has experience in business development and project management roles at opdenergy and Renovalia Energy Group.
