Ignas Žakaitis

Ignas Žakaitis is a skilled software testing engineer currently employed at Matrix Requirements since October 2021. Prior to this role, Ignas served as a service engineer at Moog Medical Devices from April 2020 to March 2022, where responsibilities included complaint investigations and project management for new service centers. At Litgrid AB, as a senior engineer from May 2019 to April 2020, Ignas prepared engineering studies using PSS/E software to analyze the capabilities of high-voltage grid infrastructure and assess load characteristics for integrating renewable energy. Ignas also gained valuable experience as a research intern at the University of Southampton in June 2016, contributing to the management of a biolab chemical reagents database and performing technical lab work. Ignas holds a Master of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from the University of Southampton, completed in 2019, and has furthered education in software development through a program at CodeAcademy from January to August 2023.
