Kate Biggs

Kate Biggs has a strong background in research and insight, with experience in various managerial roles. Kate is currently the Director of Research & Insight at Matrix Sciences, where they started in May 2023. Prior to that, they worked as a Senior Manager of Research and Insight at Virescent Analytics Inc. since September 2018. Before that, they held the position of Senior Manager of Research & Insight at Contract Testing from October 2016 to June 2023. Kate also has experience as an Insights Manager at Pearl Strategy and Innovation Design Inc. from April 2015 to September 2016. In addition, they worked as a Consumer Research Manager at ACCE International from July 2010 to July 2013. Kate's earlier work experience includes roles as a Research Assistant at Brock University, a Sensory Panel Lead at Vineland Research and Innovation Centre, and a Wine Consultant at Andrew Peller Limited.

Kate Biggs has a Bachelor of Business Administration degree in Marketing from Brock University, which they obtained between 2003 and 2007. Kate later pursued a Post Graduate degree in Wine Business Management at Niagara College from 2008 to 2009. In 2011 and 2012, they attended the University of California, Davis, where they earned a Certificate in Applied Sensory and Consumer Science.
