Kristin Andruchow has a diverse work experience in the environmental and geospatial fields. Kristin worked as a GIS Analyst at Matrix Solutions, Inc. from 2012, where they led environmental GIS projects for oil and gas clients, specializing in pre-development planning and spill response projects. At the Canadian Hydrographic Service, they served as a Hydrographic Assistant from 2011 to 2012, conducting field surveys and updating navigation maps using boat-mounted sonar. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Assistant at Environment Canada from 2009 to 2011, conducting field work and data processing for scientific studies using various instrumentation and software. Additionally, they held a role as an Assistant Team Leader/GIS Technician at the Environmental Sciences Group in 2008.
Kristin Andruchow completed their education with a post-graduate certificate in GIS - Geospatial Management from Niagara College in 2008. Prior to that, they obtained an Honors BSc degree in Environmental Science from the University of Waterloo in 2007.
