MatrixSpec Solutions
Laura Liu has a diverse work experience in both academia and the technology industry. Laura co-founded MatrixSpec Solutions in 2014 and served as the CTO. Prior to that, they worked as a Research Associate and a Postdoctoral Fellow at McGill University from 2008 onwards. Before joining McGill, they were a Postdoctoral Fellow at Hong Kong Baptist University in the Department of Mathematics in 2008. From 2007 to 2008, they worked as a Research Assistant at Hong Kong Polytechnic University in the Department of Computing.
Laura Liu obtained their Bachelor's degree in Computer Science and Technology from Harbin Institute of Technology in 2000. Laura then pursued a Master's degree in Computer Science and Technology from the same institution, completing it in 2002. Following that, they attended The Hong Kong Polytechnic University and obtained a PhD in Computer Science and Engineering, finishing their studies in 2007.
