Joep Verbunt

Joep Verbunt is the founder of Matt Sleeps, established in June 2016, focused on revolutionizing the mattress industry with customizable products. Previous roles include initiator of Disco Boodschappen, which transformed grocery shopping into a celebratory experience; creator of the TV format The Target; and organizer of Tomatofest, a large-scale tomato fight in Amsterdam. Joep also developed innovative concepts like the world's first hot tub taxi for TCA and the Hot Tub Movie Club. Joep's early career includes strategy consulting for Value8 N.V. and Droam, and directing London Zity, a sustainable transport initiative. Joep holds a Master of Science in International Business and Marketing from London Metropolitan University and has studied at several institutions including HU University of Applied Sciences Utrecht and Canisius College.
