Beth Griffin

Guest Teacher, Paraprofessional at Mattawan Consolidated School

Beth Griffin is a dedicated public servant currently serving as a State Representative for the State of Michigan since January 2017 and as a candidate for the 66th District since February 2016, with a focus on collaborative efforts for a better Michigan. In addition to legislative duties, Beth Griffin has held the position of County Commissioner in Van Buren County since January 2013, where responsibilities include fiscal oversight, community service, and advocacy in senior issues and education. As the Chair of the Board for the Area Agency on Aging in St. Joseph, Michigan, Griffin works on independent living initiatives for seniors. Griffin also contributes to education as a guest teacher and paraprofessional at the Mattawan Consolidated School District and serves as the Volunteer Chair for the Mattawan Area Pantry, aiding families in need. Griffin's past involvement includes serving as Vice-Chair of the Van Buren County Women's GOP. Educational qualifications include a Master’s Degree in Secondary Education English from Old Dominion University and a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Purdue University Fort Wayne.
