Stefano Murgia

Stefano Murgia is a seasoned technical leader with over a decade of experience in the field of mechanical engineering and energy systems. As Technical Director at Mattei Group since September 2010, Stefano has successfully led lean product and process development initiatives utilizing Agile, Scrum, and TRIZ methodologies. Prior roles at Mattei Group include R&D and Innovation Manager, R&D Manager, and R&D Engineer, where Stefano focused on advancements in positive displacement machines and the development of Organic Rankine Cycle power plants. Previously, as a PostDoc Research Associate at Università degli Studi di Cagliari, research centered on CO-shift processes for hydrogen-enhanced synfuels production and clean coal technologies. Stefano holds a PhD in Mechanical Design, Energy Systems, as well as Master's and Bachelor's degrees in Mechanical Engineering from the same institution.
