Boon Ping Ong

Boon Ping Ong is an experienced IT leader currently serving as the Head of IT for South Asia and Japan at Mattel, Inc. since January 2014, overseeing all IT facets including ERP, business applications, infrastructure, and budget management, while also acting as the APAC subject matter expert for business analytics and reporting. Prior experience includes roles at BlueScope Steel as a Senior Business System Analyst, where support for ERP finance was provided, and at Bausch + Lomb as an Assistant IT Business Relationship Manager managing IT requirements across multiple countries. Boon Ping's earlier positions include IT Specialist at Roche Pharmaceuticals, Business Systems Analyst at Unilever, Business Analyst at Kimberly-Clark, and Programmer at Amsteel Mills Sdn Bhd. Boon Ping holds a Bachelor in Computing from the Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology.
