Cimmi Cumes

Cimmi Cumes is a Design Manager at Mattel, Inc. since July 2015, leading a team of seven product and graphic designers and overseeing the design of three multimillion-dollar brands. Cimmi has successfully built and launched a new baby doll brand in 2021 and organizes showcase events for a larger design group of over 50 creatives. Previous roles include Key Lead Designer and Lead Designer at Mattel and Senior Product Designer at Hasbro, with extensive experience in toy design, including significant contributions to the Equestria Girls and Baby Alive brands. Cimmi also has a background in freelance design and product development, having worked with various clients and created a line of handmade eco-friendly dolls and plushies. Education includes studies in Fashion/Apparel Design at Santa Barbara City College and Santa Monica College.
