David Lochner is a seasoned packaging engineer with extensive experience at Mattel, Inc., serving as Lead Staff Packaging Engineer since 2004. In this role, David leads structural packaging initiatives for six major brands, overseeing the creation of bill of materials, 3D models, and dielines for approximately 400 SKUs annually, contributing to substantial wholesale sales volumes. Prior to Mattel, David worked as a Packaging Engineer in the LCD-Television Division at Sony Electronics, where responsibilities included developing protective packaging designs and creating shipping carton graphics. David began a career in packaging with an internship at Boston Scientific, focusing on packaging testing and machine qualification. David holds a Bachelor’s Degree in Packaging Science from the Rochester Institute of Technology.
