CFO at Mattel

Paul Ruh is Chief Financial Officer of Mattel. He joined Mattel in 2025. In his role, Mr. Ruh oversees Mattel’s global finance organization, including financial planning and analysis, controllership, global shared services, real estate, internal audit, investor relations, tax, treasury, and the company’s global technology organization.

Prior to joining Mattel, Mr. Ruh built more than 30 years of public company finance expertise scaling and strengthening world-renowned consumer brands. He most recently served as Chief Financial Officer of Kenvue Inc., where he led the company’s separation from Johnson & Johnson, one of the largest splits in public company history, from planning stages through IPO. At Kenvue, Mr. Ruh helped shape the company’s strategy and capital allocation priorities to allow more investment behind its brands, setting the stage for accelerated profitable growth. Before Kenvue, Mr. Ruh was Chief Financial Officer of Johnson & Johnson Consumer Health, where he executed transformational change, putting the business in a position of financial strength and successfully navigating the challenges posed by the COVID-19 pandemic.

Prior to Johnson & Johnson, Mr. Ruh spent 17 years at PepsiCo in various finance leadership roles, most recently serving as Chief Financial Officer of its multibillion-dollar Latin America business, where he was instrumental in driving financial strategy and performance across one of the company's largest regions.

Mr. Ruh began his career in operations finance at Procter & Gamble and in corporate finance at McKinsey & Company in Mexico City, Mexico and Santiago, Chile.

Originally from Mexico, Mr. Ruh received his bachelor’s degree in Engineering from the Universidad Iberoamericana in Mexico City and an MBA from the MIT Sloan School of Management.
