Amanda Oster

Amanda Oster is currently the Technology Product Lead at MATTER. Prior to their current role, Amanda was the Director of Operations at A.M. Money from July 2018-January 2021. Amanda was the first hire at A.M. Money, a mission-driven fintech startup making college more affordable and accessible for low-income students. Amanda's responsibilities varied over time, but included product design, launch, and maintenance, business analysis and reporting, lead underwriting, database administration (Salesforce), partnerships management, customer service (loan applicants, prospective customers, institutional partners, and non-profit partners), and compliance. In January 2021, Amanda left A.M. Money to pursue consulting opportunities with local small businesses. Amanda worked with local small businesses on optimizing operations and consulting on product, ops, and tech projects. Prior to their work at A.M. Money and their consulting role, Amanda was a mathematics tutor at Top LA Tutoring from August 2015-August 2017 and the Director of Operations at The Fundworks LLC from July 2015-January 2018. Amanda's first professional role was as a Senior Desk Clerk at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign from August 2012-May 2015.
