B. Sobitan is a seasoned professional with extensive experience in healthcare and entrepreneurship. Currently serving as a Mentor at MATTER since May 2022, B. Sobitan advises emerging healthcare startups on navigating clinical environments and provides industry insights. As the Founder and CEO of OjaExpress, established in November 2019, B. Sobitan has created a culturally inclusive dual-sided marketplace that connects small ethnic grocery stores with multicultural communities, aiming to combat digital food deserts. B. Sobitan has also participated in prestigious accelerator programs such as the 1871 Build Program and the Polsky Incubator Program at The University of Chicago. Academically, B. Sobitan holds a Master's in Health Administration and a Bachelor's in Nursing Science from the University of Illinois Chicago, along with a certification in Product Strategy from Kellogg Executive Education.
