Ramachandran R has a diverse work experience in the automotive industry, with expertise in hybrid and electric drivetrain technology. RAMACHANDRAN currently serves as the Chief Technology Officer (Matter Mobility) at Matter since 2022. Prior to this, they worked at Valeo from 2019 to 2022, first as the India CTO & PowerTrain Systems India R&D Director and later as the PTS India R&D Director. Before Valeo, Ramachandran R was the Director of Electrical Electronics & PowerTrain at Ola (ANI Technologies Pvt. Ltd) from 2018 to 2019. RAMACHANDRAN also held various positions at Mahindra Rise from 2006 to 2018, including Principal Engineer, Head Of Department, Hybrid & EV CoE, Principal Engineer, Deputy General Manager, R&D, Senior Manager, and Manager. RAMACHANDRAN started their career at Maruti Udyog Limited as an Assistant Manager in2006 and earlier at Bosch as a Sr. Development Engineer in 2005. RAMACHANDRAN'sinitial work experience was at Lucas TVS as a Development Engineer from 2002 to 2005.

Ramachandran R completed their Higher Secondary education in Maths and Science at Atomic Energy Higher Secondary School from 1996 to 1998. RAMACHANDRAN then pursued a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Madurai Kamaraj University, graduating in 2002.
