Antonio Ufano

Antonio Ufano has a diverse and extensive work experience. Antonio is currently working at Matter Labs as a Developer Relations Engineer, where they assist developers and teams in migrating or building projects on the zkSync Era protocol. Antonio'sresponsibilities include developing tools, collaborating on documentation, writing tutorials, and conducting workshops on various features and products.

Before joining Matter Labs, Antonio worked at Chainstack as a Developer Advocate - Blockchain/Web3. In this role, they created articles and tutorials about different blockchain protocols and developer tools, organized workshops and talks to showcase platform use cases, and engaged with partners, projects, and developers at conferences to gather feedback and shape company priorities.

Prior to that, Antonio founded their own company, Watermelon Project Ltd., in 2020. As a full-stack developer and founder, they focused on building and releasing multiple projects, including "thelifeboard". Antonio enjoyed coming up with new ideas, building minimum viable products (MVPs), and making them available to the public.

Antonio also gained experience at Santander UK, where they held two roles. As a Senior Full Stack Engineer, they contributed to the redesign of backend microservices and APIs for the OnePayFX real-time international payments app. Antonio also served as a Technical Lead and Big Data Developer, where they worked on a project involving real-time data ingestion and analysis using Java, Apache Flume, Kafka, and Hadoop.

Before joining Santander UK, Antonio worked as a Technical Analyst at Isban UK, where they were involved in projects' entire lifecycles, with responsibilities including gathering client requirements.

Earlier in their career, Antonio held various positions at VASS, including IT Analyst, Incident Analyst, Maintenance and Integration, and Technical Integrator. Antonio also worked as a Banksphere Developer at Vector Software Factory and as a Web Developer at Mkz Soluciones.
