Marcin Michalski

Marcin Michalski has a diverse work experience spanning several companies. Marcin is currently working as the Chief Protocol Architect at Matter Labs since March 2023. Prior to this, they served as the TLM of Protocol R&D at NEAR Protocol from October 2021 to March 2023. Before that, they were an Engineering Fellow at Cosmose, Inc. from September 2020 to October 2021. Marcin also has a substantial tenure at Google, where they held various roles including Senior Staff Software Engineer from October 2017 to September 2020, Staff Software Engineer from October 2014 to October 2017, and Senior Software Engineer and Tech Lead in the search infrastructure team from March 2011 to November 2014. Their initial role at Google was as a Software Engineer from September 2008 to March 2011. Marcin started their career as a Software Engineer at Advanced Digital Broadcast from November 2007 to May 2008. Marcin also gained valuable experience during their internships at Google from February 2007 to June 2007 and at Nvidia from June 2005 to September 2006.

Marcin Michalski attended the University of Warsaw from 2003 to 2008, where they obtained a Masters degree in Computer Science. Prior to that, from 2003 to 2007, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Mathematics at the same institution.
