Philip Leo Winkler

Philip Leo Winkler has a diverse work experience spanning over several companies and roles. Starting in 2022, Philip serves as the Chief of Staff at Matter Labs, where they support the CEO in executing high-leverage activities and tackling daily challenges in a rapidly growing company. Prior to this, they worked as a Senior Operations Manager at the same company. In 2021, Philip worked as an Entrepreneur in Residence (Crypto) at topi, where they evaluated the potential for incorporating cryptocurrency into their processes and conducted workshops on web3 and DeFi. Before that, they served as an Operations Associate Principal and an Operations Associate at Via from 2018 to 2020. Additionally, Philip has experience as a Portfolio Analyst Intern at MCE Social Capital, a Summer Associate at AlphaSights, and an Investment Analyst Intern at Picus Capital. Philip Leo also worked as an Independent Sales Representative at DriveNow GmbH & Co. KG and as a Business Development Working Student at Cevotec. Philip's earlier roles include being a Working Student at UnternehmerTUM Center for Innovation and Business Creation and a Finance and Controlling Intern at Daimler AG in 2012.

Philip Leo Winkler completed their Bachelor of Science (B.Sc.) in Management and Technology (TUM-BWL) from the Technical University of Munich, from 2012 to 2015. Philip Leo then pursued a Master of Science (M.Sc.) in Finance from Esade in 2016 and 2017.

In addition to their formal education, Philip has also obtained several certifications. In 2017, they completed the "Introduction to Digital Currencies" course at the University of Nicosia, receiving a score of 91/100. In 2018, they completed the "MITx - Introduction to Computer Science and Programming Using Python" course through edX, achieving a score of 97/100. Most recently, in 2021, they obtained the "DeFi Talents Fellowship" from the Frankfurt School Blockchain Center.
