Mel Tang

Mel Tang is currently the Founding Operating Partner & CFO at Matter Venture Partners, focusing on accelerating and scaling HardTech startups. With previous experience as the Chief Financial Officer at SpinLaunch, Ring.com, SpareFoot, and Demand Media, Mel has a strong background in corporate finance. Additionally, Mel has experience in media investment banking at UBS, early venture funding at Prime Ventures, and investment banking analysis at Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette. Mel holds a BSE in Finance and BSE in Mechanical Engineering from The Wharton School.
