Leo Sutic

Leo Sutic is a seasoned technology professional with extensive experience in software engineering and cloud computing. Currently serving as Principal Engineer at Matterport since July 2016, Leo has also been a member of the Apache Software Foundation since July 2002, contributing to notable projects like the Avalon application framework and founding the Jakarta Commons Attributes project. As former CTO and Founder of Inspired Labs from July 2009 to July 2016, Leo led initiatives to bring physical spaces online through advanced media production and cloud hosting. Previously, Leo held the position of CTO and Founder at Inspired Labs Technologies, focusing on developing cloud computing platforms, and served as Chief Architect and Founder at Inspire Infrastructure 2I AB, where the design and development of a clustered local search platform took place. Leo Sutic earned a degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on Computer Science from KTH Royal Institute of Technology between 1997 and 2008.
