Madeleine Lee

Madeleine Lee is a Communications Contractor at Greener by Default, contributing to initiatives that promote plant-based meals and support corporate carbon reduction goals. As a Content Creator for the Instagram blog Foodiesontherhode, Madeleine manages a following of 5,000, creating and sharing plant-based recipes and reviewing restaurants. Previously, as Team and Operations Manager at Le Ronj Coffeehouse, Madeleine oversaw operations and staff training at a student-run coffeehouse. Experience also includes a Communications and Outreach Internship with the Rhode Island Food Policy Council and a Research, Event, Advocacy, and Writing Internship with Food Tank, where Madeleine engaged in various outreach and event planning activities. Madeleine holds a degree in Environmental Studies from Bates College, attending from 2020 to 2024, and graduated with a high school diploma from The Wheeler School in 2020.
